Service Description

Scope of Work & Quoted Fees: Item 1: Inspection of Visually Affected Structural Members Scope: Detailed inspection of identified visually affected structural members (e.g., columns, beams, slabs, walls) using Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods as required. Methods: To include, but not limited to: Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity (UPV), Rebound Hammer (Schmidt Hammer), Rebar Scanner, and other relevant inspection equipment. Specific methods will be selected based on site conditions and defect characteristics. Deliverable: Inspection report detailing findings, locations, severity, and preliminary observations. Item 2: Method Statement & Cost Estimation by RSE Structure Scope: Development of a detailed Method Statement outlining the procedures, materials, equipment, and sequence for proposed remedial or strengthening works identified during inspections. Preparation of an associated Cost Estimate based on the Method Statement. Responsibility: Undertaken by a Registered Structural Engineer (RSE). Deliverable: Method Statement Document and Cost Estimate Report.
